We Support the Awakening of Women in Menopause

Here's to the awakening ones.

The women who have lived their whole lives caring for others.

The ones who always put themselves last to give their energy to everyone else. The ones who sacrificed to make sure the ones they loved were happy, nurtured, and safe.

Your body, mind, and spirit are now saying thank you.

You did enough.

You were enough.

But now it's time to care for the care-giver. To set clear boundaries that allow you to look after the one who was neglected all these years... namely, you.

There are three seasons when a woman's neurology changes to prepare her for the next phase of life: puberty, postpartum, and perimenopause. And the last season isn't meant for her to disappear, but to rise to prominence.

You are not declining. Your body and neurology are changing to make room for the blossoming new version of you.

Like a caterpillar that enters a cocoon, this season can feel messy. Foggy. Restless. Irritable. Painful.

But what's emerging is yet to be seen - a beautiful butterfly that will reveal itself on the other side.

Not everyone understands this. It's our mission to share the true message of menopause with the rest of the world.

But for now, you have found a safe space to be seen. To be supported. To be understood.

Japan is one of the few cultures in the world that celebrates the transition of women from the reproductive years to the post-menopausal ones. They call it kōnenki, and it's meant to honor their new status in the community.

These women gather in a close-knit, social support group called a moai where they are esteemed, celebrated, and upheld for all they've done and what they can contribute to others because of their experience and wisdom.

And more importantly, they stand with each other through this unsettling and yet glorious transition.

This is your kōnenki.

This is your time to bloom.

Welcome to KoneBloom.
